Multichannel Recorder
For users needing more channels, higher sampling rates, DC coupling,
calibrated input levels, or hardware triggering, we have developed a
Multichannel Recorder companion application to SpectraPLUS that
supports the
Data
Translation DT-9800 series of USB data acquisition modules.
Up to 16 channels can be recorded to individual wave files and any
two selected channels can be monitored in real time with SpectraPLUS.
The recorded wave files can then be further post processed as needed
with SpectraPLUS.

- Sampling rates up to 2 MHz*
- Up to 16 channels of recording (hardware dependent)
- Assignable channel names. Channel names are also used for wave filenames
- Separate calibration per channel. Calibration data is stored in wavefile for direct Post Processing with SpectraPLUS.
- Recording for each individual channel can be turned on and off on the fly
- Any two channels can be monitored and analyzed with SpectraPLUS in real-time.
- Channels being monitored can be changed on the fly permitting a quick and easy look at each channel as needed.
- Signal Level indicators for each channel
- Time-stamped filenames
- Triggering support (hardware dependent)
- Scalable - multiple copies can run at the same time with each controlling a separate DT-9800 module and monitoring with separate instances of SpectraPLUS (tested to 32 channels).
* The maximum sampling rate depends on the specific DT-9800 model. Most are sequentially sampled and thus the sampling rate depends on the number of channels that are selected. Some models such as the DT-9832A will sample up to 2 MHz simultaneously on each channel but is limited to a total of two channels.
