Configuration Files

The <Config> menu contains commands which allow you to save the current analyzer configuration and to load previously stored configurations from disk.

Configuration files contain all analyzer options as well as position and size information for each open plot.  The default file extension for configuration files is .CFG.  The file is in same standard ASCII text format used for INI files

Configuration files can be quickly loaded from the main toolbar by selecting the desired file from the drop down list labeled "Load Configuration".

Automatically Opening a Configuration file
If you create a shortcut to the application and pass in the filename of a configuration file it will automatically be opened.  To set this up right click on the shortcut icon and select the Properties menu item - edit the "Target" field of the shortcut details.  For example C:\SpectraPLUS_DT\Bin\SplusDT.exe Test1,cfg - this will load the Test1 configuration file when the shortcut is used.

Multiple shortcuts can be created for each test configuration.  In addition, multiple instances of the application can run at the same time to support multiple DT-9800 hardware modules.
