Processing Speed
The processing speed is affected by many factors. Foremost among these is the FFT size. Select a lower FFT size for faster performance but with reduced frequency resolution.
Video speed is major factor. The more plots that are displayed, the greater the demands placed on the video subsystem. The Spectrum plot is the fastest.
The 3-D Surface and Spectrogram plots are significantly slower than the Time Series or Spectrum plots. You may want to close these plots if you are not using them. Alternatively they will run slightly faster if minimized to an icon along the bottom of the display.
