Metadata
Metadata can be stored in the wave file. Click the <Edit><Metadata> menu to enter or view the metadata.
Metadata is a block of up to 2000 ascii text characters that can be used for notating test conditions or other comments about the wave file.
A wave file must be open in order to edit or view metadata. If you are in the Recorder mode you must start a recording before you can enter metadata.
The option "Show this dialog box before saving wave file" will cause the analyzer to automatically prompt for metadata when saving a new recording.
Note: The metadata can be printed on the comments section of the plots - see the <File><Annotation and Margins> dialog box.
